Mission approached us to bring Tiffany & Co's new awesome creative to life. The new look & feel used industrial aesthetics, neons, checker-plate, robots and of course Tiffany & Co's world famous blue. They wanted something show-stopping for Christmas 2018, that would give shoppers that gentle reminder if you want something special, go to Tiffany!
WHAT WE DELIVERED
It was decided early on that we would be producing robots, they would be big, loud and proud & there would be X6 of them. We then had to make them interactive...deciding to add beatboxing to the mix. But how will we trigger them? With a Christmas message to loved ones sent by Twitter of course. There you have it, Twitter Powered Beatboxing Robots!
Once a message was sent, it instantly triggered the robots to beatbox in synchrony, whilst displaying the message on a screen on the larger robots belly for photo opportunities.
Needless to say, this was no mean feat, each robot was completely autonomous with its own onboard power source, we had X6 CPU talking in synchronization over Bluetooth and integrated with the Twitter API...needless to say, we had a 97% reliability rate for X5 live days.
