THE BRIEF 

 

Zak Agency approached us to create their best New Balance boot press launch to date. Highlighting the new look and play benefits of both The Furon V5 and Tekela V1 boot, across both a wear test in Bilbao, Spain and a launch event in Manchester, UK.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

Whilst out in Spain, we delivered a press-attended wear test at the Athletico Bilbao training ground with full support and site branding. Those lucky few also got a stadium tour and the San Mames Stadium, where Athletico Bilbao call home.

Following a short flight back to the UK, the press teams were introduced to a fully immersive experience with bespoke displays showcasing the boot’s individual features, tests of skill wearing the new boots and even a surprise appearance by football superstar, Sadio Mané.

 

The key to this event was the back-to-back timing of the Spanish and UK legs as well as bringing a super-premium finish to all the elements we created. Safe to say the event was a success and Zak said it was their most successful launch to date.
