In news that will either make smile or shake your head, Adidas has announced plans to one-up Nikes PHOTOiD program using the Instagram. Users of the service can print any of their Instagram photos directly on their shoes taking trainer customisation to a new level.
The program was announced through an Instagram video (how else), in which adidas shows off a custom print app that allows you to pop your Instagram photo on a pair of ZX Flux trainers.

Love this idea! Turning favorite Instagram photos into something you can actually wear is such a creative way to preserve memories. I always make sure to save the original images first, and SnapInsta (https://snapinsta.ink) has been really handy for downloading Instagram photos in good quality before starting creative projects like this. Thanks for the inspiration
